Scientific Programme

We aim for broad appeal. 'Connecting Laboratory Medicine' reflects the coming together of laboratory specialities which were traditionally disparate. This has transpired not only through technological advancement, but also because we share common goals, including improved quality in our laboratories. One of the final sessions of the meeting is devoted to this topic and includes a valuable view on quality in healthcare from a patient's perspective.

The Immunology section of the ACB has been involved with our programme planning for day one of the meeting. We extend a warm welcome to them. and to colleagues in the Association of Clinical Microbiologists who are joining us for the first time.

The overall conference format is based on the winning formula of previous years: symposia, plenary lectures and workshops you will hear speakers of national and international repute talk on the practical and the cutting edge, the routine and more esoteric aspects of your work in a state-of-the-art venue.
